“The company exists, so everything is ready” can create surprises during the first operating period. Registration, tax arrangements, financial access and personal residence are distinct matters.
01 / Business registration
KVK registration records the business information. In a BV formation, the notary prepares the formal deed and usually handles business and UBO registration.
02 / Tax arrangements
KVK passes information to the tax authority. Tax numbers and continuing obligations are addressed through the tax process. Bookkeeping and filing schedules are part of operational preparation.
03 / Bank acceptance
A bank may request the business plan, expected transactions and funding sources. Review timelines and document requests vary by bank.
04 / Residence and work rights
Owning a company does not remove the conditions for living and working in the Netherlands. Assess personal permission separately from incorporation.
